After-builders clean

Plaster dust, paint splatter, the lot. Gone.

Two-stage clean designed for properties after a renovation. HEPA-filter vacuums, eco supplies, full window-in service.

Construction dust is unlike anything domestic cleaning normally encounters. It's fine, it gets everywhere, and standard vacuums recirculate it. We use HEPA-filter vacuums and a two-pass methodology — first pass to remove the bulk, second pass after dust resettles — to deliver a home that genuinely feels new.

Why after-builders needs its own service

Three things we do differently.

HEPA-filter vacuums.

Standard vacuums blow fine dust back into the air. HEPA captures particles down to 0.3 microns — the dust stays gone.

Two-pass methodology.

First pass on day one to remove the bulk. Second pass 24 hours later after airborne dust has settled. Charges for one visit.

Window-in and ledge focus.

Plaster and paint stick to window frames, sills, radiators, light fittings. We clean these specifically — not just the floors.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

When should I book the after-builders clean?

After the trades have all finished but before furniture moves back in. The clean is much faster and more effective on an empty property.

How long does it take?

Two cleaners, 6–10 hours total spread across two passes. For larger renovations (whole-house, kitchen + bathroom), expect two full days.

Do you remove builder's rubbish?

Small amounts yes, large amounts no — that's a skip job. We can recommend a local waste company if needed.

Will this remove paint splatter?

Most yes, using non-caustic methods. Hardened oil-based paint on delicate surfaces may need specialist treatment we'll flag before starting.
